About DinkDex
An independent database of 583 pickleball paddles from 99 brands, scored consistently and labelled honestly.
Why this exists
Buying a pickleball paddle is unreasonably hard. There are hundreds of models, the specifications that matter aren't the ones printed on the box, and most of the advice online is either a manufacturer talking about itself or an affiliate roundup that ranked whatever paid best.
This site takes a narrow, defensible position: gather every paddle's published specifications, apply the same formula to all of them, publish the formula, and label every number with where it came from. That won't tell you how a paddle feels. It will tell you, reliably, how a paddle compares.
What we do and don't claim
We don't run a lab. We haven't measured spin RPM or put a paddle on a swing weight machine. Sites that do that work deserve credit for it, and we're not going to blur the line between their measurements and our calculations.
What we do is apply one consistent, published method to the entire market at once, and tag every figure so you always know whether you're looking at a manufacturer's claim, our estimate, or an owner's experience. Read the methodology and check our work.
How we're funded
Affiliate commission, disclosed on every page that carries a link. No sponsored content, no paid placement, no advertising. See the affiliate disclosure for the full detail.
Corrections
Specifications change and manufacturers update spec sheets without notice. If you spot something wrong, email hello@dinkdex.com — with a source if you have one — and we'll correct it.
