Affiliate disclosure

The short version: we earn a commission when you buy through our links, it costs you nothing extra, and it does not affect our rankings.

How this site makes money

DinkDexparticipates in affiliate programs run by paddle manufacturers and retailers. When you click a link on this site and buy something, the retailer may pay us a percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you'd gone to the retailer directly.

This is how the site is funded. There is no paywall, no display advertising, and no sponsored content.

Programs we participate in

We currently maintain affiliate relationships (or are in the process of applying) with: 11Six24, Amazon, Bread & Butter, CRBN, Electrum, Engage, Gearbox, JOOLA, Legacy, Paddletek, Proton, Ronbus, Selkirk, Six Zero, Vatic Pro.

Where a program is not yet active, our links still take you to the correct product page — they simply don't earn us anything.

Why commission doesn't affect rankings

This isn't a promise about our character, it's a property of how the site is built. Every ranking on this site is generated by applying a published formula to a database of manufacturer specifications. Commission rate is not a field in that database and is not an input to any score. You can read the entire formula on our methodology page and reproduce any ranking yourself.

Practically, that means we regularly rank paddles we earn nothing on above paddles we earn well on, because the specs put them there.

How our links are marked

Affiliate links on this site pass through a /go/ redirect and carry rel="sponsored nofollow", which is how Google requires paid links to be marked. Pages carrying affiliate links show a disclosure above the first link, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines.

What we don't accept

  • Payment for placement, ranking position, or inclusion.
  • Sponsored posts or paid reviews of any kind.
  • Editorial input from brands. Manufacturers can correct a factual spec error; they cannot influence a score.

Prices shown on this site are manufacturer's suggested retail price and are indicative only. Retail prices change frequently. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's own site before buying — the price at checkout is the only one that counts.
